Alan Duvall is the Owner of Duvall & Associates, Inc. and personally leads the consulting division of the firm. Alan has over 30 years experience in public accounting and is one of the Miami Valley's foremost authorities in the areas of:
Alan graduated from Ohio State University with an accounting degree in 1975 and from OSU's School of Law (JD) in 1979, passing the Ohio Bar Exam the next year. He passed his CPA exam in 1977. In 1991 Alan passed a Certification test for the Institute of Business Appraisers and fulfilled all requirements for Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) in 1995. Alan also achieved status of Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) in 1995 and Certified Insolvency & Reorganization Advisor (CIRA) in 2003. Alan was awarded the 1997 Ohio Society of CPA's Public Service Award and continues to contribute his time to such causes as the Dayton Art Institute, Dayton Bar Association, Wright STEPP and University of Dayton Entrepreneurial Program. In 2006, Alan was honored as one of the top 60 legal practitioners in the Dayton area. Alan plays basketball and golf, works out at the Y, is a news & music junkie and may be found casting for bass on weekends. |
